The Women’s Air Jordan 2 “UNC to Chicago” is a women’s-exclusive colorway of Michael Jordan’s second signature shoe that shows appreciation for his two former basketball teams. Originally appearing on the Air Jordan 1, the “UNC to Chicago” theme makes its way onto the Jordan 2 Low as part of the vintage basketball shoe’s comeback in 2022 and 2023. The design features the familiar color schemes of both the North Carolina Tar Heels and the Chicago Bulls, Jordan’s college and professional basketball teams. The shoe features a white leather construction with contrasting University Blue accenting on the heel, which is a nod to the Tar Heels. Fiery red detailing inspired by the Bulls’ primary team uniform color is found on the underlay on either side of the shoe. Red “Wings” branding appears on the tongue. The cream accenting on the back of the shoe and on the mid-panel gives the design a decidedly aged look. Release date: March 8, 2023
